Carnelian Afghan Tribal Necklace

This Tribal pendant necklace is another example of the kind of wonderful unique craftsmanship from the Northern Afghan areas that has been produced for hundreds of years I have recently bought a few pieces because my experience with unique Tribal pieces is that they can quickly become  very scarce.

So I purchased this necklace knowing that there are a limited number of pieces that were brought out a while ago. The necklace has a mixed silver set with Carnelian, rose quartz, brass beads set with Carnelian. The necklace is knotted in the back. It is 26 inches long, plus a 2 1/2 inch pendant.
